'We are finally coming together as a team'

KINGSPORT — Sullivan North gained a split with Providence Academy in a nonconference basketball doubleheader on Monday night inside J. Richard Carroll Gym. After the Lady Raiders came up short in the opener, 55-40, the North boys turned back the Knights 72-51. View the photo gallery The Golden Raiders (4-4) outscored the outmanned Knights (2-7) in every quarter, and nine of 11 North players who saw action scored. “The boys are really playing hard and have bought in and we are finally coming together as a team,” first-year North coach Travis Cain said.
