A masked man's attempt to rob a gas station Monday night failed after he reportedly fled with several cash drop envelopes that contained no money.According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, it was just before 11 p.m. when the clerk at the BP station at Dixie Highway and I-75 got a phone call asking her to check the restroom for a wallet that had been lost.
