After being rumoured for quite some time, it was finally made official today - The Walt Disney Company acquired Twentieth Century Fox in a multi-billion dollar deal which will see Disney greatly expanding its film and television empire. Included in the deal were several major Marvel properties which Disney didn't yet own, including the X-MEN and FANTASTIC FOUR franchises.
