'America's Got Talent' winner Darci Lynne Farmer to play Oklahoma City homecoming stand

After her stunning “America's Got Talent” audition turned her into a viral video star, winning the highly rated 12th season of the NBC talent contest turned the Deer Creek Middle School student into a concert draw who already has sold out shows in Las Vegas, Atlanta and her hometown of Oklahoma City. “Winning was crazy, but I just feel so good that all those people out there were cheering for me and voted for me to win,” Darci said last week from her home in Oklahoma City, where she and her mom squeezed in a phone interview before the seventh-grader had to do her homework. The Oklahoma native, who turned 13 in October, less than a month after winning “America's Got Talent,” consistently wowed the judges, the studio audience and the internet with her remarkable performances as a singing ventriloquist on the smash summer series.Read more on NewsOK.com
