A man wanted on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, among other charges, was arrested after a hourslong standoff at a hotel Thursday night in southeast Colorado Springs. Police were called to the 2100 block of Aerotech Drive about 9 a.m. after receiving a tip that Richard Torres, 28, was in one of the hotel rooms. Torres refused to leave his room, police said.
