The comic book world and the real world are coming together next month for the DC in D.C. Event over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend. The event runs January 12 and 13 and features the world premiere of The CW's upcoming Black Lightning TV show, as well as a screening of Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. DC calls it a "landmark pop culture event," bringing comics and public service together to "illuminate the story of America." In addition to the stars of the DCTV show, comic book artists and writers, along with "guests from politics, government service, entertainment, business, academia and more" will be on hand.
