Luna delivered a one-two punch last year. The indie rock band helmed by Dean Wareham and his wife, Britta Phillips, released the covers collection “A Sentimental Education” and an EP of instrumentals “A Place of Greater Safety,” securing its comeback after a decade apart. Now the group is once again on the road, playing a career-spanning set that touches on the low-keys songs from much beloved albums such as 1992’s “Lunapark,” 1995’s “Penthouse” and 1999’s “The Days of Our Nights.” Luna is scheduled to play two Bay Area shows, on Friday, Jan.
