A man was arrested, accused of shooting another man at an El Paso County hotel early Sunday morning, the sheriff's office reported. Deputies were called on a report of a man with a gun at Value Inn at 6875 Space Village Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim shot and lying in the middle of the road. The victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said. While investigating, deputies learned the suspect was hiding in a hotel room.
