Comment on Saugerties woman charged in stolen jewelry investigation

SAUGERTIES - A Saugerties woman was charged with a felony after stolen jewelry turned up at local jewelry stores, according to police.The Saugerties Police Department received a complaint of stolen jewelry from a home on Washington Avenue in the village, according to a news release. Police said the stolen jewelry was sold to two jewelry stores.Rita White, 23, was arrested and charged on Saturday with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.
