Michael Pitt, partner of Royal Oak-based law firm Pitt McGehee Palmer & Rivers, received the Champion of Justice Award from the Michigan Association of Justice. Pitt and his firm have advocated for the civil rights of employees and citizens for more than 40 years and currently represent Flint residents in three class action lawsuits regarding lead-tainted water.
