Comment on FTC hearings on tap to assess current competition laws and consumer protections

The Federal Trade Commission will conduct a series of hearings beginning in the fall to assess the need for changes in laws involving marketplace competition and consumer protection enforcement law, FTC Chairman Joe Simons said Wednesday.
