VAIL — Over four decades, the Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame has undergone two name changes to reflect the evolution of skiing and snowboarding in the state while serving as the steward of its rich history. This week, it begins a new era, with the unveiling of a $2.6 million modernization that includes new exhibits, historical artifacts and interactive media stations with state-of-the-art features. The museum, located at the Vail Village Transportation Center, was closed for a year for a complete renovation.
