State attorneys general want to know more about fast-food 'no poach' and noncompete agreements

Fast-food restaurants that use noncompete and 'no poaching' clauses in their franchise agreements are keeping a lid on wages and upward mobility for the country's workers who know the least about their rights, attorneys general in 10 states and the District of Columbia are saying.
