Science Hill's Feathers, Elizabethton's Shoun earn All-State baseball honors

Science Hill’s Brandon Feathers and Elizabethton’s Tre Shoun were among the players honored Wednesday on the Tennessee Sports Writers All-State baseball team. Feathers, who helped Science Hill reach the state tournament, was a pick for the Class AAA squad as a pitcher. Tennessee High’s Banks Presson, the Johnson City Press/Kingsport Times News Super 22 player of the year, was on the team as an infielder. Shoun, who helped Elizabethton reach the state tournament, earned a spot as a pitcher on the Class AA team. The honors for Feathers and Shoun were prestigious as only three pitchers from each classification were selected to the teams.
