STOCKTON — A Stockton police officer who shot a man to death nearly two years ago has been cleared of wrongdoing following a lengthy protocol investigation conducted by the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, the Stockton Police Department and two other law enforcement agencies.District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar shared the news with Denise Friday, Colby Friday's mother, during a 90-minute meeting late Tuesday afternoon.
