By Meg WingerterAttorney General Mike Hunter advised the state Board of Health to repeal some of the rules it approved a week ago, which attracted two lawsuits so far.Several rules, including requiring dispensaries to hire a pharmacist and limiting the level of THC in marijuana products, appear to exceed the board’s authority under State Question 788, Hunter said in a news release on Wednesday.Tom Bates, interim commissioner of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, had asked Hunter for advice about how to proceed in the face of pending lawsuits.“The current rules contain provisions that are inconsistent with the plain language of State Question 788 and the State Board of Health acted outside of its authority when it voted to implement them,” Hunter said in a news release.Read more on NewsOK.com
