Three Oaks Recreation Area re-opened Wednesday morning following a near-drowning Tuesday afternoon. The beach was closed Tuesday after a 6-year-old girl who was found facedown in the water and unresponsive. There were 14 lifeguards on duty Tuesday, according to Three Oaks staff. Fifteen were present Wednesday. The girl was pulled from the water and CPR was given to her by a lifeguard at the beach before police and paramedics arrived.
