The political arms of The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the State Chamber, the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Cox Communications, OG&E and the Chickasaw Nation donated tens of thousands of dollars to candidates in the June 26 primaries. They mostly backed winners. Mark VanLandingham, vice president for government relations and policy at the Oklahoma City chamber, said 31 of the 35 candidates that got checks from the chamber's PAC either won their primary races outright or advanced to a runoff.
