BEGIN SLIDESHOW Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions signs 3-year Paramount deal Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has set a three-year first look deal with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions, along with its sister label Gloria Sanchez Productions led by Jessica Elbaum. RELATED: Will Ferrell to Lead Netflix Music Feature Eurovision Ferrell and McKay originally set up shop at Paramount Pictures and produced the likes of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Daddy’s Home and its sequel, and Oscar-winner The Big Short under their Gary Sanchez banner, but departed the studio after their upcoming Dick Cheney biopic Back Seat was put into turnaround. Paramount is currently set to release the Demetri Martin scripted Will under the Gary Sanchez banner, as well as the English language remake of the German comedy Toni Erdmann, starring Kristen Wiig and directed by Lisa Cholodenko, with Gloria Sanchez producing. “Adam and Will are among the most influential and innovative comedic minds of our time, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome back the strong partnership that the studio enjoyed with them in the past and will continue to nurture and grow for years to come,” says Wyck Godfrey, President of Paramount’s Motion Picture Group.
