MONROE — The Town of Monroe has gotten a $250,000 state grant through Sen. Bill Larkin to help pay for roughly $650,000 in planned renovations and improvements to the synagogue the town has been renting for municipal use and will soon buy.Town employees have occupied the lower level of the Congregation Eitz Chaim building at Orange Turnpike and Reynolds Road since 2015.
