Beginning Nov. 1, Winchester shoppers will no longer see disposable plastic bags at checkout in several Winchester stores. Winchester’s new bylaw banning plastic checkout bags will kick off with three locations this fall -- Stop & Shop, CVS, and Mahoney’s, the three businesses larger than 4,500 square feet.
