Comment on Two vehicle collision leads to injuries in Highway 151 accident near Springville

Two people were injured Friday evening when their van was struck by an oncoming car as they attempted to cross Highway 151.According to a media release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, at 6:53 p.m. deputies and emergency responders were called to the intersection of Highway 151 and Springville Road for the report of a vehicle collision.Responders arrived to find that a Toyota van had been crossing the intersection, going north on Springville Road, when it was struck by a car on Highway 151, according to the release.The driver of the van was Donald Gaddis, 82, of Solon and his passenger was Karen Gaddis, 79, also of Solon.
