Comment on Free concert scheduled at Crystal Lake church

A choral music concert will be presented at 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson St., Crystal Lake. The event is free and open to the public. The festival choir will be comprised of adult singers from the host church, as well as choristers from several other churches in the Chicago area. The Illinois chapter of the American Choral Directors Association sponsors the one-day festival as a way to support music in worship, emphasize unity and to inspire choral singing as a lifelong experience.
