Teacher and business owner square off in Norman House campaign

Jacob Rosecrants faced recovery professionals and survivors who told eye-opening stories about Oklahoma's mental health system. Meanwhile, his opponent in the general election, Republican Bryan Vinyard, met inside a supporter's home with a small group of current and retired teachers. Each event highlighted a sobering fact for lawmakers and political hopefuls: No matter the expertise they've built during their own careers, the job of a legislator requires a deep understanding of many issues that might come across their desk.
