Films starring women, not men, do better at the box office, study finds

Researchers looked at the 350 highest-grossing U.S. films released between January 2014 and December 2017 and found that films with women billed as the lead actor made more money.

The bill requires TikTok's China-based parent company ByteDance to divest itself from the app within the next year.
