Giant Lego-themed pop-up bar announces plans to come to Denver this summer

Your wildest childhood dreams just came true. The Brick Bar, an adult playground made with more than 1 million Lego-like blocks, is coming to Denver in June, according to a release sent this morning. Not only is the bar and its sculptures made from the classic toys, bar-goers and friends also get their own Lego-like bricks and blocks to build your own creations while a DJ pumps the jams. Nostalgia level: 100. Since the fire of competition makes everything better, a visit will also include building contests, table tennis and more. The bar’s Instagram page shows drinks served in giant colorful blocks, slides served between yellow and red block buns, an adult ball pit and more. If the popularity of the Miracle Christmas bar is any indication, Denverites better register for tickets now. Other cities where the bar has visited, including Sydney and London, sold out within 24 hours.
