One person was injured when a small crane crashed to the sidewalk in Midtown on Monday night, authorities said. The “knuckle boom truck,” which is used to transport pieces of construction equipment, had a hydraulic malfunction at about 10:20 p.m. near the corner of Seventh Avenue and 34th Street, according to fire officials.
