For some kids at the Denver March Powwow, the event is mostly about dressing up in traditional clothes, dancing, singing and having fun. But for their parents, it’s about passing on history and traditions for generations to come. The 45th annual Denver March Powwow took place Friday through Sunday at the Denver Coliseum, an event that attracted thousands of Native American dancers from 95 different tribes across the United States and Canada. Vendors filled the halls, selling authentic jewelry, crafts and food.
