A second case of measles has been confirmed in Iowa, according to a news release by the Iowa Department of Public Health.The release stated it is an unvaccinated, northeast Iowa resident, who is in the same household as the recently confirmed measles case.Because the person was isolated at home during the measles incubation period, there is no current threat to the general public, the release stated.
