The Ohio Power Siting Board has green-lit more large-scale solar energy development in the state. Two new utility-scale solar farms were approved by the board last week, including one that is the largest ever approved in the state. Both will start construction this year. The Highland Solar Farm, to be built in Highland County, would be a 300-megawatt solar farm, the largest ever developed in the state.
