Stocks wobble a day after hitting record high

Major U.S. stock indexes moved mostly lower in afternoon trading Friday as a weeklong rally fizzled out a day after the market hit an all-time high. The benchmark S&P 500 index was still on track to notch its third straight weekly gain following four consecutive weekly losses. Trading was muted as investors took a breather after driving the S&P 500 to a record closing high on Thursday. The milestone, which eclipsed the benchmark index's last record close on April 30, came amid a swift turnaround for stocks this month that has erased the losses from a steep sell-off in May.Read more on NewsOK.com
