When a family of four moved from Hawaii to Portland, Oregon, they desperately missed the tropical climate that surrounded their previous home. To find a solution, they turned to architect Brian Crabb of VIVA Collectiv, who came up with the idea to connect two tiny homes with a warm, light-filled sunroom. The Ohana (which means “family” in Hawaiian) is comprised of two 176-square-foot tiny homes set on 24 x 8 trailers.
