Comment on Sheriff Deputy Muller and K-9 Maverick presented with USPCA Excellence Award

GOSHEN — Orange County Sheriff Carl E. DuBois announced that Deputy Mike Muller and hisK-9 partner, Maverick, were recently presented with the Excellence Award by the United States Police Canine Association.The award was presented for the Case of the First Quarter 2019 of the Northeast Region, in recognition of outstanding performance in the detection and prevention of crime, specifically their narcotics search on February 7, which netted 524 envelopes of heroin.
