Roadwork is set to begin through McHenry in the coming week. The city road resurfacing program and projects on Curran Road and Pearl Street are all set to begin Monday. The road resurfacing program will include five roads including Chickaloon Drive, Katmai Trail, Denail Trail, Illiamna Trail and Currant Road between Dartmoor Drive and Ojibwa Lane, according to the city. McHenry hired Crystal Lake-based Curran Contracting Company to complete the work.
