Shutterstock A new study suggests that mothers who drink fluoridated water during pregnancy (which shows up in their urine) may be giving birth to kids who have slightly lower IQs. The finding held true in boys, but not girls. The American Academy of Pediatrics still recommends that kids drink fluoridated tap water, because it helps prevent many cavities.
