Steve Glasder, a manufacturing teacher at Harvard High School, is a semifinalist for the 2019 Harbor Freight Tools For Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence. Out of 749 trades teachers who applied for the prize, 50 were selected as semifinalists, according to a news release from Harbor Freight. Glasder has taught for 40 years, eight have been spent at Harvard High School, according to the release.
