What to do in Oklahoma on Aug. 25, 2019: Catch 'Homegrown Volume I' at Norman's final Summer Breeze Concert of the season

By Brandy McDonnellToday's featured event:NORMAN - The Summer Breeze Concert Series 2019 ends tonight with a new concept: “Homegrown Volume I,” showcasing Norman's deep pool of musical talent. The "Homegrown Volume I" house band, hosted by Terry "Buffalo" Ware and Kyle Reid, will fill the stage with singers, songwriters and musicians from the long list of artists who call the Norman area their home, according to a news release.“We’d love to tell you who else is coming to play with Terry and Kyle, but it’s a surprise,” says Shari Jackson, executive director, of Norman's The Depot and the Performing Arts Studio, Inc.The music begins at 7:30 tonight, and concertgoers are invited to bring seating and refreshments to Lions Park, Flood and Symmes, and take in a free evening of local music.
