Hawaii Tourism Authority will fund 43 programs throughout the state that work to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture in 2020. The funding, which was announced earlier this week, is provided through the Transient Accommodations Tax as part of HTA’s Kukulu Ola program. Kukulu Ola focuses on initiatives that support cultural practitioners, craftsmen, musicians and artists that enhance Hawaiian culture.
