Today in History, November 12, 1920: Kenesaw Mountain Landis named first baseball commissioner

On Nov. 20, 1920, Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis of Millville, Ohio, was named the first commissioner of baseball in the wake of the Black Sox scandal.
