A Cary-Grove High School senior earned perfect scores on the SAT and ACT test, making him the first student in District 155's history to do so. Ved Patel received a 36, the top composite score, the first time he took the ACT his sophomore year, according to the district. During his junior year, he earned a 1580 on the SAT, but took the exam a second time. “I thought it would be a fun, low-pressure challenge to try to improve my score,” Patel said.
