Comment on 3 Lake in the Hills businesses fail alcohol compliance checks

Three Lake in the Hills businesses were caught selling alcohol to a person younger than 21 years old during a compliance check conducted on Wednesday, according to a news release from the Lake in the Hills Police Department. During the compliance check, which was performed with the assistance of the Algonquin Police Department, minors were sent into the chosen businesses and attempted to purchase alcohol. A total of 30 liquor establishments were inspected during the check.
