Never too busy to feed those in need

By Dave CatheyBetween the fast-approaching holidays and a couple of impending restaurant openings, 84 Hospitality restaurant group found time and personnel to keep Turning the Tables on Hunger at Oklahoma City's Homeless Alliance on Thursday.Chef Trevor Tack led a contingent of a couple dozen employees from the group's properties, which include Revolucion, Empire Slice House, Goro Ramen, Paseo's Little Market and Gun Izakaya in pumping out enough baked ziti, salad and cookies to feed a couple hundred day-shelter clients on a cold, drizzly Thursday.Tack said just hanging out with kitchen manager Delbert Briggs and his crew was worth showing up for."You know, it's been a real honor to step into Delbert's kitchen," Tack said.Read more on NewsOK.com
