By Brandy McDonnellThe new Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center will celebrate its grand opening March 12-13 at at NW 11 and Broadway.Construction is wrapping up on the nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization's new $30 million home on a 4.6-acre campus just north of downtown OKC’s historic Automobile Alley.As previously reported, the arts center will include a new 54,000-square-foot main facility, a renovated 10,000-square-foot studio building and a three-block arts park and space for events ranging from outdoor art exhibitions and poetry readings to live music and silent dance parties.Founded in 1989 as City Arts Center, Oklahoma Contemporary's new home was designed by Rand Elliott Architects, and staffers are currently working to install the opening exhibition, titled "Bright Golden Haze.Read more on NewsOK.com
