Ohio's hospitals have seen nearly one-third of their revenue evaporate from suspending non-essential procedures while gearing up for the coronavirus surge – a collective negative impact of $1.2 billion per month. Annual revenue is about $48 billion for 236 hospitals and 14 systems, according to the Ohio Hospital Association, which is collecting data daily from its members on the impact of the pandemic.
