With everyone sitting around the house these days, and nowhere to go, what better time to get lost in a few books? If you’re looking for a new title — or perhaps an old one — The Denver Post sports department has compiled a list of its favorite sports books. Even with a stay-at-home order in place, this ought to keep you busy for a while. “Ball Four,” by Jim Bouton (1970) — The tell-all that rocked baseball, Seattle Pilots pitcher Jim Bouton journals the 1969 season and the trials, tribulations, victories and hilarities that go into everyday life as a big-league ballplayer.
