Adams County firefighters are battling a fire at Boyer’s Coffee roasting plant and cafe in north Denver. Nobody was inside Boyer’s Coffee, 7295 Washington Street, when the fire started, Adams County Fire tweeted Tuesday afternoon. Fire crews have taken a defensive position, tweets said. Pictures show the right side of the building engulfed in flames. Adams County Fire could not immediately be reached for further details. Boyer’s Coffee, owned by brothers Douglass and Jason Barrow, has been a Denver staple since 1965, with a footprint in over 1,300 stores.
