Unlike his first legislative session, when the new governor walked away with nearly everything on his wish list, Stitt ended this legislative session having achieved almost none of the government reforms he called for in his State of the State address. When Stitt was speaking to both chambers of the Legislature in early February, there was no way he could have known that within a few months, most of his time would be spent dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
