Rocky Mountain National Park plans to start its phased reopening Wednesday as other parts of Colorado, from restaurants to day camps, also prepare to reopen. The park has shared guidelines so visitors will know which parts of the park will reopen and when. And as state and local parks are inundated with visitors, sometimes with detrimental effects, RMNP gave its visitors a warning: Their actions will help determine if areas stay open or if they close again. Starting May 27 Basic park roads and trail access will reopen. Shuttle bus operations within the Bear Lake Road corridor will resume.
