By Dave CatheyStaff writer dcathey@oklahoman.comThe Wednesday before Thanksgiving is usually the busiest day of the year inside the Homeless Alliance's Westtown day shelter, but not this year thanks to COVID-19. The annual effort to feed those in need a hot Thanksgiving dinner the day before the holiday is going forward, but meals will be to-go only and volunteers will be few. "In a normal year, the day shelter is packed full of 500-plus people, we have live music, great food and love for our neighbors who don’t have a home to eat in or a family to go to," Homeless Alliance director of communications Kinsey Crocker said.Read more on NewsOK.com
