The bonkers part? Jaida Redwine put up one of the best seven freshman scoring seasons in Colorado prep girls basketball history last winter, and George Washington coach Keithan Lyons didn’t run a single play for her. Zip. Nada. “That’s the sign of a Power 5 (college) player, that you don’t have to run plays for them,” Lyons said of Redwine, his 5-foot-8 combo guard and one of the top sophomores in the state.
